The Southernmost Bedroom Community in Saitama Prefecture: “Niiza City”
Located in the southern part of Saitama Prefecture and part of the southwestern area, “Niiza City” is bordered by Miyoshi Town and Shiki City to the north, Tokorozawa City and Tokyo’s Kiyose City to the west, Higashikurume City to the southwest, and Tokyo’s Nishitokyo City and Nerima Ward to the south, with Asaka City to the east. Niiza City is vertically long and features two main train stations: JR Musashino Line’s “Niiza Station” and Tobu Tojo Line’s “Shiki Station.”
Interestingly, Shiki Station is located in Niiza City rather than Shiki City.
